Two lettings agencies have announced expansion projects in a bid to woo more landlord customers.
Lomond is expanding its presence in Leeds following the acquisition of the lettings portfolio of local agency Right Let Leeds. It will be managed under Lomond’s Yorkshire brand, Linley & Simpson.
Established in 2012, Right Let Leeds had become one of Headingley’s leading estate agents.
Lomond says the acquisition underscores the company’s strategy “of joining forces with market leaders.”
Meanwhile in the Midlands, residential lettings and management business Settio has opened an office in Birmingham to serve a rising number of investors and tenants.
Settio has operated in Birmingham since 2022 but decided to open a permanent location “because the city offers investors a thriving residential property market with further growth potential and its growing client base continue to diversify investments between Manchester, London and Birmingham.”
Founded in Manchester in 2017 and with offices in London and Singapore supporting investors in the capital and Asia-Pacific region, Settio employs more than 50 staff to support more than 2,500 clients with a sales, lettings and management package for UK residential investments.
The firm’s property portfolio in Birmingham is dominated by new build sites, including Glasswater Locks and Snowhill Wharf by Berkeley St Joseph and South Central by Regal Property Group, alongside The Forge, The Bank and East Timber Yard.
